About me

SUSANNE ZAHN-WILLSDON
MA, UKCP, BCST, RCST

I have always been very interested in communicating with others, in the expressions of the body and the connection between the body, the mind, emotions and the spirit, so feel a strong connection both with Mindfulness Based/Core Process Psychotherapy  and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.

Originally from a professional performing arts and movement background, I graduated from the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) in 2007. I worked at the CTET teaching clinic as a tutor, coordinator and finally the director.  A registered member of the CSTA (Craniosacral Therapy Association of the UK) and the IABT (International Association of Biodynamic Trainings), I have a Biodynamic Craniosacral Practice and am a CSTA accredited Supervisor. I have been a trustee for the CSTA for 4.5 years until the end of March 2024.

I trained at the Karuna Institute in Buddhist psychology and mindfulness-based psychotherapy and have an MA in mindfulness-based psychotherapeutic practice. I am accredited as a psychotherapist by the UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy), and a member of the ACPP (the Association for Core Process Therapists). I continue my professional development through postgraduate courses, personal study, contact with peer groups and personal supervision. I have a certificate from the NCIP, the National Council of Integrative Therapists as a Couples Therapist.

I adhere to the Code of Ethics of the CSTA, the ACPP and the UKCP.
